partman-auto-lvm software package provides Automatically partition storage devices using LVM, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install partman-auto-lvm
partman-auto-lvm is installed in your system.
Make ensure the partman-auto-lvm package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep partman-auto-lvm *
You will get with partman-auto-lvm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
